…with great views of the Arenal lake and surrounding areas. The tour starts with a 30 minute ride on the Sky Tram cableway with a Costa Rican nature guide, where you can have a different perspective of the flora and fauna.
The Sky Tram ends in a wide observation platform on the highest point of the Arenal Reserve, where you can sit down on comfortable chairs to enjoy the view. You may stay as long as you wish on the platform admiring the volcano, lake, mountain range, and rain forest. There are two options to return to the main building; the first is on the Sky Trek zip lines, and the other is to return on the Sky Tram. The Sky Tram is a full age tour, even for people with some disability due to the spaciousness of the gondolas.
If you decide on the Sky Trek to return, you will start the adrenaline filled adventure over the tops of the trees. Sky Trek consists of a zip line system that shows you the Arenal Rain Forest and its landscape from a different perspective; taking into account your safety with a completely innovative system. The tour includes 8 cross-sectional cables that together have a total length of 2.8 km. With a distance from 30 to 760 meters, and from 20 to 200 meters of height. The cables go through and above the trees, where you can see the Arenal Volcano, weather permitting. During the Sky Trek tour, you will always be with two qualified guides who are credited by the Instituto Costarricense de Tourismo (Costa Rica Tourism Board). In addition, the first two zip lines are practice cables; after them, you may choose if you want to continue on the Sky Trek or go back on the Sky Tram.
